Dr. Daniel Zimmermann, M.D., President, Chief Medical Officer

Consultant Physician for General Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes. He has his own Surgery in Affoltern am Albis (Switzerland) and is a Consultant Endocrinologist/Diabetologist in the Regional Hospital Affoltern. In the Diabetes Charity he leads the swiss medical team and is responsible for training in Diabetes, Hypertension and Cholesterol. He is a Delegate of the Rotary Clubs Zürich-Knonaueramt for the Project Rodrigues.

Ms. Noelaineza Augustin-Bearda, Vice President

She grew up in Rodrigues and lives in Switzerland since 1998. She has Diabetes herself and is one of the founders of the Diabetes Charity organisation for Rodrigues, which was initiated in 2013 together with Dr. Lukas Villiger und Franziska Svensson. She is responsible for project coordination and co-operation with the government of Rodrigues.

Franziska Svensson, Organisation, Finance, and Administration

Surgery Manager and member of Board of Directors of Dr. Villiger’s Surgery in Baden; member of the foundation of the Swiss Charity Organisation. In the Diabetes Charity is responsible for the administration, finance, marketing and sponsors.

Dr. Beatrice Kuhlmann, M.D.

Consultant Paediatrician, specialising in Endocrinology and Diabetes in children and adolescents. She works in a specialised surgery in Basel and is a consultant physician for Paediatric Endocrinology/Diabetology in the hospital of Aarau (Switzerland). Dr. Kuhlmann is a board member of the Aargauer Diabetesgesellschaft. Within the Diabetes Charity, she counsels the children and adolescents with Type I Diabetes.

Sébastien Pierre Thalmann, M.D.

FMH Diabetology and Endocrinology and FMH General Internal Medicine. He works in his own practice in the medical center Sihlcity. He is on the Board of the Swiss Society of Endocrinology and Diabetology as well as in the Medical Commission of the Zurich Diabetes Society. At the Diabetes Charity he is responsible for diabetes education and prevention at school.

Dr. Amineh Tröndle, M.D.

FMH Diabetology and Endocrinology and FMH General Internal Medicine. She works in her own practice and is also an associate physician in the hospital Lindenhof. At the Diabetes Charity, she is responsible for training specifically in the field of diabetes and gestational diabetes.

Prof. med. Jardena Puder, M.D.

Specialist in endocrinology and diabetes and general internal medicine. She works at the University Hospital of Lausanne and at the University of Lausanne. Her special interest is gestational diabetes and lifestyle for children and adults. She is our new member of the diabetes relief organization.
